In July 2008 I was diagnosed with colon cancer, two large tumors in my abdomen with spotting across the peritoneal wall (in my belly). Stage 4 cancer that is characterized as agressive. I am inoperable for the time being. They tried but they closed me up without touching anything. My salvation is in the chemotherapy treatments that began on August 5, 2008. In explaining the process of chemotherapy to my brother I thought other friends and acquaintances would also like to know, but would not dare ask, how is life with cancer. I write in this blog what I think you want to know or more humbly what I want to tell you about my journey.This is the english version of the original french blog so bare with me in terms of grammar and syntax. The humour may not render the same in english as in french but I thought that I have enough anglophone friends with whom I want to communicate to justify writing things twice.
